With legendary sayings like these, renowned trumpet player Charles Green leads Studentproof, the bigband of the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). The band was established in 1989 and consists of 20 (former) students. The aspiration of Studentproof is to express its enthusiasm on a very high musical level. Thanks to the stable line-up as well as the ambitions and dedication of Charles Green, Studentproof has developed in the course of time into a semi-professional jazz orchestra. The band has recorded two CDs, "Fresh-outa-school" (1999) and "Actual Proof!" (2004), which nicely reflect the development of Studentproof over the years. The large repertoire (more than 200 arrangements) enables the band to perform at a wide variety of occasions, like jazz festivals, (gala) parties, outdoor stages and jazz bars. Outside of the Netherlands, the band has performed at jazz festivals in Le Mans (France) and Bologna (Italy). For bookings, questions or suggestions, we can be reached through the contact page.
